Pepakura Designer

This is so neat… it’s a program that reads in 3d modeling files and gives you printable templates for folding paper.

I’m sure that the site itself won’t last long, but it’s oso neat.

My input device

October 26th, 2005

Hey – I haven’t posted in a while… because, well, I’m just smitten with my cap pc. Right after I had done all the work to get it installed I was way too critical.

But now the gps has saved me from sitting in a couple traffic jams… and browsing the web while waiting to pick up the wife is just a giggle.

Here’s a little update. The touch screen doesn’t really cut it while driving (or even when still without a stylus), and the wireless mouse needs surface space to move… so here is tonight solution to that problem:

Just today, I found an old keyboard with a touch pad in it that someone was throwing away. I hacked it out and slid it into one of those belt clips for a cellphone. It look a lot of “coercion” but it fits perfect now.

I can clip it on my seat belt or what not.
Anyone have an idea of how I can sell the idea to a manufacture?

“Patent Tending” :)

I think I could make a killing if I sold adult sized BigWheels – the nostalgia crowd would give me money, fame, first born children just to be the first 6′ guy riding down white street in Belmont on a 20″ front wheel big wheel with a sliding 4 gear transmission and a e-brake handle on the right rear wheel for those wicked spinouts.
