Another one wrt54g router firmware update

THis is the link

HyperWRT is really pretty cool, the only problem is that even with all the great additions it makes to the standard firmware, there’s no way to assign static ip addresses with DHCP.

dd-wrt is much better, really really robusty. Embedded devices make me very happy. If I could do it over again, I would probably be dealing with robots and pocket pcs or something.

Mountaintop Corners: A List Apart

Rounded corners with css.

I tried this method myself, and it just looked like absolute crap. I think the problem is that the shapes I tried were anti-aliases.

HyperWRT – Features

My last post had a great big crap load of information on How to hack up my new router (the linksys WRT54G) that I bought for $63 (and sent in my $30 of MIR) after selling my enemic Linksys WKPC54G.

And I actually grinning right now. I’ve very happy with this little sucker.

And with the new features that HyperWRT added – and I didn’t have to do a damned thing except flash the new rom.

I love toys.

The latest Mantra

May 18th, 2005

“There’s not enough information, it’s not my responsibility, and I don’t care.”

I think it was Casey that taught me that. And I try my hardest to remember that when ever I think I should start getting emotionally invested in things that have little to do with me.

Like chimes in the wind: “There’s not enough information, it’s not my responsibility, and I don’t care.”
