Operation Breakfast was the name for the bombing of Cambodia between 1969 and 1973.

539,129 tons of bombs were dropped on Cambodia without anyone asking (or telling) the united states citizens (or their representatives)  if they wanted to do it.

That’s  some 15,400 pounds of explosives for every square mile of that country. (reference)

And I guess the bombing continued well after the Paris agreement made the Vietnam War a thing of the past – which is weird because I always thought that Cambodia was bombed to help protect the forces in Vietnam. But that’s all bullish.
